The 38th Annual Kentucky Heritage Council Archaeology Conference was hosted online this year by the Kentucky Heritage Council, on March 5-6, 2021. The event was organized as a series of video presentations followed by a group discussion panel. The KHC website still hosts multiple video presentations that can be watched at any time!
The 33rd Annual Kentucky Heritage Council Archaeology Conference will be hosted in partnership with the Kentucky Organization of Professional Archaeologists and Kentucky Archaeological Survey at Pine Mountain State Resort Park near Pineville, Kentucky, March 11-13, 2016. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the passage of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), much of this year’s conference will be devoted to celebrating the impacts of this significant event in Kentucky Archaeology. For those who wish to present, please complete the 2016 KHC Archaeology Conference_call for presenters form and submit no later than January 31, 2016 via email to Kary Stackelbeck (kary.stackelbeck@ky.gov).

The 32nd Annual KHC Archaeological Conference is scheduled for March 13-15, 2015 at Lake Barkley State Resort Park in Cadiz, Kentucky. A block of rooms has been set aside for conference attendees, but please make your reservations by February 13th, 2015. To make reservations, call (270) 924-1131 or (800) 325-1708 and let them know you are with the KHC Archaeology Conference. Additional details will be available soon, but please put this on your calendar and get those abstracts ready!
Early registration is encouraged using the KHC Archaeology Conference Registration 2015 form. This will be very helpful for conference planning, though on-site registrations will still be accepted.
